Eligibility Criteria for Admission to M.B.A. Marketing Management

  • You must be a graduate in any stream from an accredited university or college.
  • The minimum required percentage by certain institutes is 60%.

Selection Process to Admission in M.B.A. Marketing Management

The selection process varies from institution to institution. For admission in any business school, candidates are required to qualify entrance exam conducted by the school.

The entrance exam constitutes objective type questions comprises quantitative and verbal ability along with logical reasoning and date interpretation.

Candidates successfully passing entrance exam are thereafter called for personal interview or Group Discussion or both. Thus, the final list of successful candidates is prepared.

  3. Services Marketing
  4. Project Report
  5. Communication Skills

Each year contains 400 marks paper in total. The subjects Basic of Marketing, Sales Marketing and Laws Relating to Marketing are divided into 2 parts, Internal and External. Each of the above subjects is divided into ratio of 70/30 (External/Internal) which is in total of 100 marks each. However, Principles of Management and Research Methodology are 50 marks each paper which comes under internal section.

Same like first year pattern, Subjects like Retail and Distribution Management, Integrated Marketing Communications and Services Marketing are also divided into two parts, Internal and External and Ratio of the marks is also same as year one. That is 70/30 (External/Internal) which is in total of 100 marks each. Project Report and Communication Skills subjects comes under internal category with 50 marks each.

The projects which are made by students under this course must not be less than 5000 words. Regarding the Internal exams, the communication is done by the institute with the university before finalizing the criteria.

For internal and external exams the passing marks are 40 percent. These passing marks are considered for each paper of Internal as well as External exam. Institute would not allow the student to appear in second year if he/she scores less than 20 marks out of 50 in assigned project.
